Philly Pride is entering a bold new era. What you’ve helped build over the past few years has been nothing short of massive, and because of that we’re turning it into a full-scale, can’t-miss celebration with three stages of nonstop live entertainment, high-energy moments around every corner, and an atmosphere that takes over the city in the best way possible. We are PROUD to announce that 2026 Philly Pride will be moving the the Benjamin Franklin Parkway!

This is more than a move, it’s a movement, it’s a glow up, it’s an opportunity to be more VISIBLE than ever. We’re introducing an expanded festival experience, including a vibrant Maker’s Market featuring local LGBTQIA+ artists, small businesses, and one-of-a-kind finds, plus more activations, more space to explore, and more ways to celebrate Pride your way. And don’t worry, the Gayborhood is still a huge part of the story, with programming and partnerships happening all pride week to keep that energy alive where it all began.

Now we need you to help bring it to life. This kind of blowout festival doesn’t happen without the community behind it, and volunteers are a huge part of making the magic happen. Philly Pride 365: 2026 Festival Volunteer Shifts & Roles

SHIFTS:

SET UP: 8 am - 12 pm

SHIFT 1: 11am - 2 pm

SHIFT 2: 1 pm - 4 pm

SHIFT 3: 3 pm - 6 pm

BREAKDOWN: 5 pm - 8 pm

Volunteer Supervisors

Work with Staff on Vendors management, volunteer management, general area awareness.

Parkway Entrance & Ticketing Ambassadors

As the festival moves to a ticketed model ($10 entry), you are the first point of contact. Greet attendees, assist with digital ticket scanning/wrist banding, and provide directions to the three main stages. This role is high-energy and essential for a smooth entry flow.

Multi-Stage Crew & Performer Support

With three stages of live entertainment in 2026, we need a robust team to assist with backstage logistics. You’ll manage performer check-ins, assist with quick stage turnovers, and support the production teams to ensure the show goes on without a hitch.

Maker’s Tent & Vendor Liaisons

Support our brand-new 2026 Maker’s Tent, showcasing LGBTQ+ artists and small businesses. You’ll assist vendors with load-in on the Parkway, troubleshoot booth needs, and help shoppers find unique local treasures.

Youth & Family Zone Facilitators (Have background check)

Help us create a safe, vibrant "Kids’ Pride" area. You’ll facilitate crafts and activities, engage with families, and ensure this designated zone remains a joyful and secure environment for our youngest community members.

Pride Merch & Info Staff

Staff the official Philly Pride 365 merchandise booths. You’ll process sales of the 2026 commemorative collection and collect donations that help keep Pride accessible and community-funded.

"Visibility" Social Media & Content Team

Capture the "can’t-miss" moments of 2026. You’ll assist our communications team by gathering high-quality photos and video clips for live social posts, helping us show the world that Philly Pride is more visible than ever.

Volunteer HQ & Hospitality

Take care of the team that makes it happen. You’ll manage the volunteer check-in tent, distribute the 2026 volunteer shirts, and keep the Hospitality Hub stocked with water and snacks for our 200+ person crew.

Community Safety & Wellness Monitors (Red Cross- certified in CPR/First Aide)

Act as the "eyes and ears" on the ground. You’ll observe designated zones for safety or medical concerns, support emergency protocols, and coordinate directly with professional security and the city’s 2026 event task force.

Parkway Logistics: Setup/Breakdown:

Help us transform the Benjamin Franklin Parkway! The Morning Glory Crew assists with tents, signage, and equipment setup, while the After-Party Squad handles evening teardowns to leave the Parkway better than we found it.
